Celery
1. When – Plant 6-8 weeks before your last spring frost date.
2. Where – 6-8 hours of sun. In a place with rich fertile soil.
3. How – Grow celery indoors until the seedlings reach 3 inches. Dig a trench 10 inches wide and fill halfway with organic material. Do this 1 month before planting. Then, plant the seedling 6-8 inches apart in rows 2-3 feet apart. Fertilize every 2-3 weeks.
4. Harvesting – Celery should be ready 3-4 months after outdoor planting. Harvesting the larger stalks from the outside of the plant first will allow the plant to continue to produce for longer.
